Ventilation & Condensation

Loft condensation happens when warm, moisture-filled air reaches colder surfaces inside the roof space. As the air cools, it can no longer hold the same amount of moisture, causing water droplets to form on roofing felt, roof timbers, nails and other cold surfaces. A small amount of moisture may occasionally appear during very cold weather, but regular or heavy condensation should not be ignored.
